Dixie Narco 368.. door doesn't shut properly

30 August 2012 - 07:19 PM

I switched the front graphics on my DN 368 today, and when I finally got everything back together, the door didn't close tightly. I had to push the upper right corner of the door in to get the T-lock to latch. It used to open right up when I pulled on the T-lock after unscrewing it, but now I have to stoop down and pull on the lower right corner to get it open.

I have no idea what I could have screwed up just by changing the front graphic panel.. it looks much better, but now functions worse!

I noticed the the silver inner door that you open to get to the coin mech doesn't close completely, which I would think is related. I don't see anything sticking out that is keeping it from closing. I had the door open today for like 8 hours (it took me forever to change that darn panel) and I wondered if I had somehow bent the door hinge by leaving it open too long. I don't see anything physically wrong, but I'm not sure how to adjust the door to try to fix this.

This is a home use machine if you couldn't tell by my lack of technical knowledge and the fact that it took 8 hours to put in a panel.. :)

Does this ring any bells for someone? Is there something simple that I'm not thinking of?

Changing light bulb on Dixie Narco 368.. I feel dumb.

03 March 2012 - 01:59 PM

One of the fluorescent lights on my Dixie Narco 368 has burnt out and so the other one just barely glows. I was going to take them out so I could take one to Home Depot and make sure I get a match, but I can't figure out how to get it out! :)

There is a metal bracket that seems to be holding it in, but I took out the screw from the bracket and the bracket still didn't move. There is a white plastic piece that the light goes into but I can't seem to force it up or down (depending on which end I'm pushing on) to get the light bulb free.

I feel silly asking.. but can someone tell me how to change a light bulb? :) This is the 4 foot long 50w fluorescent bulb that lights up the front panel.

How many idiots does it take to change a light bulb? More than this one I guess..
