JB I have had the same soft cans problem with pepsi and it is really bad on the diet pepsi. we are probably averaging two cans per six pack. I have talked to my pepsi rep and we started saving them to give back on exchange. But the way he talked this is a problem all over not just here in the midwest. at least they know about it. On the water we gave up on Deerpark and all those associated brands with that bottle design. And desani isnt much better. We have gone all Aquafina for now. It is the only bottle that we have been able to put in any machine we want to and have had almost no trouble vending it. We even started using the 12 oz size in some smaller machines and have had pretty good luck with that. No I am not a pepsi rep I just went with what works for us.We are having the same problem with the new bottle design with DeerPark water. Feeling the bottles carefully to keep out the soft ones and loading 2/3 column. We also switched to Nestles water, same bottle design, but seems to be fuller and harder. Pepsi and Diet Pepsi have had a lot of bad drinks. If the can is soft, don't use it.

same here. we sell aquafina 20 oz at 1.25 and 12 oz bottles in some of the can machines at .65I have tried 4 or 5 brands of water and they all seem to have that problem. I now order all my water from Pepsi and I raised the price to $1.25 and have had no complaints. I'm actually selling more water with the Pepsi brand name.

We made the decision to go with all Aquafina about a year ago and do not regret it.

I've been doing the Aquafina 16.9s in my DN 501s for about a year and a half now with little problem. I actually have more problem with the labels not wanting to stay on the bottles very well sometimes. I think sometimes they don't use enough adhesive to adequately secure them.
I've been vending Aquafina 16.9oz water also for almost 3 years and they've been working good so far. However, Pepsi just recently changed their bottle to have just half the plastic in their new design. I haven't put these new bottles in my machines yet, but I've felt them and they feel so soft that I'm afraid they will not vend well. If that's the case, I may have to switch over to the 20oz bottles because they are much more firm. The problem with that is that some of my machines can't take 20oz bottles. Has anyone found another brand of 16oz water that is as firm as the old Aquafina design?

I have still been sticking with the Aquafina without any jamming problems. In fact, I recently had an account that did away with their water service and asked me to stock it in the pop machine to make up for it. I ended up quickly finding out I had to do two columns to keep up with demand. I tried stocking the columns full instead of the usual 2/3 and haven't seen a problem yet.
Somebody gave me the advise a while back to alternate how you stack the bottles. Cap facing out, cap facing in, cap facing out, cap facing in, etc... That seems to make a difference in how well they vend too.
