Hello...just wondering what the best product is for periodic cleaning of bill acceptors. Is it be to use a card? Manual cleaning with q-tip and solvent? Both? Other?

Card cleaners are waste of money, You can do the same thing with a crisp bill and windex (without ammonia). The parts that need the real cleaning are recessed and or covered using q-tips and alcohol method. Every model of acceptor has its own unique dirty spots to clean if you can give me an idea of what you have I can get you headeed in the right direction. Just a thought.

Unlike older mechanical machines, which required periodic internal cleaning, adjustments and lubricating of the moving parts, modern day, computerized machines do not require that type of attention I think.
