I am wondering if any dollar bill validator would fit on it.

You need to check the voltage..if the little tag on the wire going to it says 12v or 117v.. more than likely it is a mars (MEI) and you can probably just get it fixed from the local distributor...dont plug a 12v bill validator into a 110v harness even if its exactly the same size plug (because they are!! dumb i know)
what brand is it? if its a 110v ICT then he Mars 110v will plug in exactly the same..
do you operate alot of amusements machines??
I operate cranes, amusements , bulk and pushers.. I also manufacture my own pushers.
I love to chat about all this stuff and I've been full time for about 15 years.

rons is right - and check it with your ohm meter (just in case power is the problem). Do you know what the problem with the old validator is?

I don't own another machines. There was never a bill validator on it. I bought it without one. I seen it is a 12v but I can't find a bill validator that is 12v there all 110v or 24v
