Hello there
I was wondering, someone in my area is selling a honor vending business. You get 50 trays, the guy will locate 30 for me, snacks for all the trays, sams club membership and advice. These are new trays never been placed yet. I am better off buying them on my own or should I seek more info from this guy? He is asking $3000
Thanks Wes

Honor Vending business... you mean those without a physical machines in the location and just let people take out snacks from the tray?

Let me tell you some of my experience, I used to worked in an office that have two of those tray sitting in kitchen, most people will take the snacks without putting any money in the little hole. Or some people will put a dime or two in it.
If you depends the revenues from the tray sales, forget it. You will never make it back your cost. You must dealing with the location decision maker for a fixed cost in order to make a profit. And 50 trays won't last you very long, in that office it have 4 trays, 2 trays outside and 2 trays inside the cabinet. And goes thru every two weeks or long. Most people like cookies and chips, gums and candies are not selling that much.

And $3000 for 50 trays, = $60 per tray. Does it includes snacks in it?
And how long for them to locate all the 30 trays for you? Cuz I heard a lot of bad things about locators, and how they rip people off, so be aware and check the background before you buy it.

Hope it helps for you.
