Hi all,

My Vendo 511 stopped cooling. The fan and compressor is running and it sounds normal. I vaccumed out the front radiator and will go back to blow it out with a compressor.

What would the next steps be?

Can the refrigerant be added too?

Am I able to replace the refrigeration units easily?

Thank you in advance for those that may have some knowledge for me.

my guess would be the cpmpressor has a freon leak. if the compressor sounds like it is running normal touch the evaporator and see if it is warm. If it is there is no freon in the system. If you know a refrieration guy who can find and fix and recharge the system with freon that would be a good way to go. Do not try to do this yourself unless you have worked on and understand how thw refrigeration system works. You need a set of gauges to pressurize the system and there is a high pressure side and a low pressure side and if you dont know the difference you can damage some stuff and yourself.
What I do is buy a whole unit already charged and ready to be installed and change out the old unit. Then have the old unit repaired and put it on the shelf for the next time.

Good Luck
