I seen that also and I think that it looks like a rip off. I would stay away from that and start out with used machines already on location first.

Corey, how do you recommend finding these used machines already on location? Are there ads somewhere?

Hello Mike. Go with A&A Global Ind. for your machines. Stay away from the triples (that is what you call a 3 part candy machine BTW). ALL locations will have 2 good sellers, not 3. Plus Triples are big, and bulky, and weigh a lot. There ugly, and just don't have a good presence in normal locations. I use mostly A&A, and they have proven to be the best, machine wise. You will have to get a Sams Club membership for candy and gum. You will have to come up with a locating speech that works for you. If you want, hook up with a vendors charity. The most popular would have to be the National Children's Cancer Society, and Child Search. You can also do commission vending.

I started with 1 double head, and put it in a hair salon on commission (I still have the location). I used Mike and Ikes, and Peanut M&M's. I tested the water with this. I pulled $25 the first month, and bought 3 more machines, and so on. i now have just over 100 machines, all placed in person, without a locator.

One big mistake I made was with triples. I bought a BUNCH of them, and I really don't like them because they work only in very few places. I am limited with factory break rooms with them. There is enough traffic/hungry people there to support 3 selections. Most of the time, product is stale, and gets waste in triples. Double heads are OK, and Singles are the very best.

One thing you must think about is the machines you go with. Stay away from all companies but: OAK, Northwestren, and A&A. All of those are proven to be the best. For triples, I used XYZ.

I hope this helped!

I am new, too, and haven't made any purchases. When you say get a Sam's Club card does that mean there is some kind of an affiliation or is that just the store you use and Costco would also work? I am vehemently opposed to giving the Walton's any of my money so that is why I ask. I haven't decided on a company and the only materials I have received are from Vendstar - expensive and they are triples so I guess I should toss those - we don't have a lot of factories here in my local area.

Wow, that is the exact response I got from my wife! I also agree that for women, they are usually prepared; from my experience. Now the need is with the guys. I suggest targeting them

Thanks,

Keith

I think that the reason women are prepared is because we got used to these things being empty for so long. I have contacted the company for information. They are very low pressure - in fact I am still waiting for the info he's supposed to send. The sales guy did state that he is filling re-orders so maybe it's not a bad thing. I am totally interested.
