Hello...

I have a Vendo 721 ten selection live display drink machine and I am having trouble deciphering the programming directions in the manual. Specifically, the manual refers to buttons 1, 2, and 3 for use in programming. Are these the first three buttons in the top row? Left to right? Or two top buttons and one on the bottom? I want to set it up for some cans and bottles and have to set the columns, depending on what will be vended, 1, 2 , 3 or 4. I don't get it. When the machine is on and I hit the service mode button, I get eror in the display but hitting the buttons doesn't do anything until I push button 4...then the display reads chng which may refer to adding change to the coin mech.

Any advice on programming this thing would be appreciated.

Regards,

Vic

Success! Not too difficult once I figured out that buttons 1 to 3 refers to the three buttons top row on the right, moving to center. That is, button #1 is on the right, next to the bill acceptor, button #3 is the center button on the top row. This does not make intuitive sense to me, but everything now seems to work, prices set, etc. I don't think I'll bother with all of the other settings and features possible...at least not now.

Regards,

Vic

Vic, there shoud be a diagram on the inside door for programming on that machine. Depending on the packages you are vending, they can be 1, 2, 3 or 4 deep per column. I believe that cans will be the only thing you can put in the 4 deep setting. There is also individual pricing per column. All the programming is done with those 3 buttons.Button #1 operates column #1(extreme right hand), #2 is next, etc.
Playing with it will be the best learing tool for you.
