  • Is anyone having success with the SuperPro Dentyne Ice machine?
  • I believe you have to buy the gum from SuperPro also. Can anyone confirm?

Rhythmer,

I looked into the Super Pro Vending Denteyne ICE Vending several weeks ago. Haven't actually ordered the equipment yet or gone into that area. However, I know that in talking to several different locations near my area, i.e. restaurants, they were not indicated in having it. They saw it as just another gum vending machine, and also were not wanting to have the gum left under the furniture or chairs.

I currently have 2 Dentyne Ice machines, seeing how they work. You do have to get the product from Super Pro, but the machine comes with product included. It should cover 90% of the cost of the machine.
The Super Pro folks are a great bunch to work with.

A update for the first Dentyne Ice machine placed. Showing a return of 29.5% since 4/5/07. Thats from the cost of machine with included product, not counting shipping or the tax sticker.
Hard to find a stock or mutual fund, or any investment with returns like that.

It is located at an office facility with around 150-200 employess, the full size machines have no gum products. My little machine is right there in sight of them, in the break room.

I contacted super pro today. It is a very interesting opportunity and the cost per machine is a lot less than I thought given the fact that its a branded machine. It might be worth a go for me. Keep me posted on your results David.

David,
What exactly do you mean by a 46% return. Are you saying that if the machine cost you $200 you have made $92 so far? Also, it sounds like your location is exceptional. If you would share your story on my forum I would be forever indebted. I have been against this machine since I heard about it but your success is inspirational. Thanks so much.

Regards,
Rob

That is a 46% return, from the total price of the machine. Not conting the shiping and the $5.00 sticker. Not having the best of luck locating more Ice machines.
Trying to locate in the local bars, but hard to catch the owner at the right time. Will hit some auto dealer ships, it should work well their.
The ICE is geared for the adult user and not reilly the same as a Bubble Gum machine.

I hate the Dentyne Ice machine idea but I have a guy who blogs on my forum and he just bought 6 of them. So I'm willing to give them a shot. Who knows, anyone know what they cost and so forth?

I sat in on an hour long conference call with Superpro vending and I believe that they lowered the cost per bag to $29 plus shipping.

Hmmmm Can you say "red flag?" I just got of the phone with Steve Peterson and he just quoted me $39 per bag at 5pm est today and I can buy them without the machine. I used to be on board with Super Pro but they just cant seem to get the story straight. I'm going to call him again tomorrow and act like I'm cold calling and see what price I get. So far I've been able to get $108 per mahine, $139 per machine and $80 per machine!
