Hello,

I am new to vending and I have been researching vending machines to purchase. I was wondering if anyone has vending machines from a company called eVending.com? This company is 80 years old and they tell me their machines are american made in Iowa. Are they a good company? What can anyone tell me about this company? Thank you! Jacque

It's better to get full size machines.
You can get good prices on refurbished machines.

http://www.southernequipmentsales.com/ (I've bought machines from in the past)
http://www.vendingworld.com/ (I've bought parts from)
http://www.vendweb.com/index.htm (I've got information from)
http://www.dsvendinginc.com/ I've got information from)

And there are many others out there.

Good Luck,
Charles

If you don't mind a plug I learned a ton by reading "Small Change" from my-vending-uncle.com. It is an excellent book about some of the real life issues with vending. Doesn't cover the wireless monitoring, more of their story of how they started and built their vending business.

+1 on the ebook.
While it's not every thing you need to know it is a good start.

In Topic: 3rd Party Vending

Anyone know anything about becoming a 3rd party vendor with Pepsi? I would appreciate
any info on this and a phone number to call to inquire. Thanks.....

Where are you located?

My Rep handles all 3rd party accounts for North Louisiana and Central Mississippi, and I'm not sure but I think Central Louisiana and North Mississippi also.

Here's their website https://www.iwanttos...pepsi.com/aaws/ The requirements here are a business address in your name(no storage units)they must also be climate controlled.
Good luck.
John

The requirement, or at least the enforcement of them, vary by your local supplier. I just have my home address and they deliver drinks to the non-climate controlled storage building at my house.

Here in North Louisiana they have been very easy to work with, but Coke on the other hand is almost impossible to deal with.

YMMV.

The Silver Duck,

Are you sure you are not me?

I had the exact same thing happen. I bought a MEI 6800H off ebay and it is doing just like yours. I tried cleaning it, swapping parts from another 6800, nothing worked. I guess I 'm going to just send it to Vending World for a flat rate exchange. (Unless you figure out what is wrong and I try that first)
