I am new to the vending machine world. Four machines were recently given to me and I just starting messing with them today…. Two of the machines dollar bill validators do not work. The make and models are maka model nb-11b-400. Now, they will power up and will accept a bill, but the bill will only enter the validator about ¼ of the way. Like I said I am new to the whole vending machine but I am mechanically inclined. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

What model of machine are they? I would throw those Makas away, and buy a Mars 2000 series validator with a conversion kit, and put that in. Don't even bother trying to fix the Makas The Makas are not worth the metal they are made out of, and are about 20 years old. The Mars 2000 is the most reliable validator on the market, with about a 100% acceptance rate.

But first, lets find out the model of the machines.
