Made about 40 calls and 5 in person. All no's but 2 maybe's
This is very discouraging!
Locating service is so expensive.
hooked up with NCCS for a charity and made some brochures and some business cards.

Looks like this could be a bust!
Almost everyplace i think of already has one or more and the ones that dont dont want one.

Any thoughts? Should I stick it out?

I have never had any luck with calls, dont have a charity either. I just push locations in my area in person. I only buy 3-4 machines at a time since it is time consuming for the locating.
Hit the places were its blue collar, machine shop or parts sales, auto body shops. The places with the white collars and the female gate keepers are just about a 95% no.
If I get a bite, I always tell them we can try it for a few weeks and see how it goes. That seems to relax them some what since agreeing to a candy machine can be a stressful experience.

Its hard to get commitments over the phone. You basically wanna go in there in person and throw your pitch. Also, you wanna keep your machines clean and attractive looking.
