The machine was working fine until we moved the machine to a different place which is 300 feet away. On the Mars 2500 Bill validator is now showing the message "disabled mech" and nothing is working any more. The bill validator and the coin mech have been replaced. Visually inspected the cables and it seemed to be fine. I think the only thing left is the control board. Is there anything else could cause the problem? Can I buy the control board for this machine? Please help. Thanks.

Does the mode box work? Can you press the operate light and have it's red LED turn on? Can you get any of the other LEDs on the mode box to come on? If the Set Price LED comes on can you actually change any prices? If the Check Price LED comes on can you press selections to view their prices? With power turned off, make sure the power harness is still connected to the bottom pinout on the logic board. They are the larges pins coming off the bottom of the board. Every connector on this logic board is used, so if you see any bare pins, there is a connector missing.
Did you move it through a doorway that required you to clamshell the machine through? You might have pulled a harness loose or damaged it where it stretches at the door hinge area. Some of the AP4600's had a barrel connector on the main cabinet harness near that area and all of the wires leading to it are very thin and fragile. If you clamshelled the machine and put undue stress on the main harness you might have damaged some wires. There's a possibility that if you pulled the power cord too tight it may have pulled a connection loose to the power transformer.
Lastly there may have been a loose coin that fell between the door and the logic board. These coins can short out the logic board and the only way to find them is to loosen the board to see if any coins fall out. Sometimes you can get a coin to shake out and the board will work again. To loosen the board you will first turn the power off, then loosen the nuts on the 4 mounting studs that hold the board to the door. If you have an APINT validator interface board you won't see the 4th stud and there is no nut on it. There is also a thin chance that there are still 2 screws mounting the bottom edge of the board. Don't force anything and be aware that if a nut is on a stud real tight, the stud might turn instead of the nut. That will be okay.
The board can be replaced if needed and you can PM me if you need one.

Operate light is on, set and check LEDs are inoperable(Not on when pressed). When the "set" LED is pressed, received the message "disabled Mech". The mode box LED is stated "ready" after power on. But when the set LED is pressed, the red LED is turned on from the mode box. I will check for all the loose connections as you recommended. Thanks for getting back to me AZvendor.
