Hi- I am very new to this business. I hope to purchase a small route next week. I was told it averages about 13.50 per month - is that good?
Can this be a lucrative business where I can eventually quit my job and do vending full-time?

I bought 32 Tri-Vend, bulk candy, vending machines three years ago and entered the vending business. First, I got ripped off by the machine manufacturer and didn't receive my machines for 6 months. Be very careful. Second, I found that the machines, in a decent location, grossed about $10-$15/month. With the gas prices the way they are, I have calculated that in order for this business to support me, I would need around 350 machines. I recently sold all but 7 of my bulk vending machines, at a loss, and invested in soda machines.
