I really think in a business like this, service is key. I have seen vendors in highly populated locations (like large office buildings) who just come in, do there job, and leave. It's suprising the kind of difference it makes in your business just to stop in and say a quick hi to the location owner on a bi-monthly basis or so. Just something to let them know you are concerned with the performance of your machine in their location. A little really does go a long way and building some type of trust with the location owner is invaluable in this business, in my opinion at least.

I have to agree. From my understanding, the best way to find locations is to learn how to locate them yourself, and then if you cannot do that, look into hiring someone that you can physically meet up with to assist you. If you are looking into any other types of locator situations, please be sure to read your contract, and remember, their customer service is key. You want to be sure they can help you, not hinder you.
