Just looking to pick up some quirks with the Royal 552. There are a couple of these bad boys in my service area and for a while now I have notice a few quirks with them. Anybody here have very much experience with them and what kind of issues do you notice outside the usual changer/validator stuff (ie. coin jams, bill jams, etc.)? A couple of things, just to start off; 1. rolling price display(the display counts from 00.00 to 99.99), 2. blank display. Personally at first, and a common view amongst others I work with (some guys been around 30 years) was a control board issue, leading to a replaced control board. After seeing it a few places, and with a handful of machines of it reoccurring, I'm starting to think of different causes. Maybe a design flaw, poor location of changer plug, grounding, ballast interference, to name just a few. Anyway just looking for other issues and possible answers.
