In Topic: What do you put in your machines?

15 February 2009 - 03:25 PM

Hi new guy,

What kind/brand/machine do you have? where and how much did you get it?
I have Coke, Diet coke(not selling good), mt dew, lipton brisk iced tea, and a welch grape juice (not the soda one.)
Mine is placed in a pediatrics office, thats why i put the welchs, moms requested for a healthy option for there children.

For snacks, I would say, Cheetos is my best bet. you may also try doritos.
For candy, M&M peanuts, snickers and hersheys almonds is on my toplist. Don't 4get Reeses, try it. Coz reese also makes good sales.

You may also want to monitor/make an inventory, so you will know what type of products need to go. I find crunch in my location to be not so good sales.

regards,
ron

Hi agee,

when you say " What i'm trying to do know is lower my sales tax basis by calling the .11 cents a location fee and making a disclaimer about it on the machine, that would mean I'd only pay sales tax on the .64 and not the .75, that could save me almost .01 a can. "

You pay for tax on the 0.64 right? Isn't it supposed to be, the price of a soda (for example 0.25), should it be 0.64 - 0.25 = 0.39 --> be the taxable part? Im very sorry for my ignorance.

Thank you.

to tonyd,

Very nice inputs as well, Thanks. keep us posted on your machines.

ROnnie.

I am newbie when it comes to this biz. Yup, I notice a decrease in sales during the holidays. What would be the peak months for vending business? Thank you.
