To Learn Great Techniques Order this Vending Ebook on Locating Vending Machines by Ronnie Talent. Ronnie started with one machine as an experiment and build a route of over 400 machines. He talked about how he sat in a restaurant while thinking about how great it was that he had time freedom while his other friends were at work. In regard to sales tax -
Even if you are exempt your are required to file even if you owe zero tax after the exemption. There is a telefile number you can use over the phone to report total sales, amount exempt and thats it. You are required to file quarterly. There is a $50 penalty for not filing each quarter.
In regard to income tax
Total Sales - expenses = Net Profit
Net Profit is what you will be required to pay taxes on.
I recommend using TurboTax for Business as it walks you through all of the steps.

I agree and have found the Vaseline Petroleum Jelly to work great by smearing it around the top of the pole where it meets the machine.
Some people look at you a bit funny if they see you doing this so I usually do it out on the lot before bringing the machine in. I would do this on every vending machine just as a precaution.

Hi,
Here is an article from the BulkVending Blog that we did on 1-800 Vending
Click on the link below and it will take you to this exact artilce. You will have to scroll down to see the article.
There were a couple of comments also left at the end of this article you might find useful.
http://bulkvending.b...g-machines.html
This might give you some insight.
At least you only got 10 machines. Try it out and look at it as experience gained.
You may do OK with them, it will just take you allot longer to get your Return on investment unless they got you smoking locations.
Look at it as an experiment and get your next 10 from somewhere else. My suggestion is not to just look at cheap machines.
Look for Quality at the best possible cost to you. To start out though, getting cheaper machines is probably better to decide if this is really the business for you. Once you decide you really like this business and you plan on staying in it long term then you might want to invest in some better quality higher cost machines like Beaver etc etc..
