I am new to vending, what are some of options of buying product besides Costco,Sam's,Walmart. Especially in buying candy I find that in order to get the Item you want you have to buy bulk packages with a lot of items you don't need to get the particular ones you want. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I will be operating a few snack/soda combo machines in Texas. I am new to this, does anyone know anything about whether or not I will be needing any licenses or permits, tax ID numbers, DBA' etc... Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I recently contacted Gary of profit vending on 2/13 in lieu of purchasing 3 vending machines. I had ran his company through the BBB. BBB had no rating on the company but stated that it was in the process of gathering more information. Those of you who have dealt with this company Know that they offer a location with each machine purchased. This fee is included in the amount of the purchase. Supposedly you will receive 5 to 9 locations to choose from. Gary tried to rush me into buying saying that he would drop his original price for each machine from 3,000 to 2,700 but I had to do some more homework. I called gary back on 2/16 and gave him a deposit of half the total amount he then in return would give me several locations within 2 to 4 days to check out, from which I would pick out the ones I like then I would pay the remainder and the machines would be shipped to the locations. Four days later gary cashed the check for the deposit and the same day the locator who is totally independent of profit vending gave me 2 locations one which was not sure they wanted a machine and told me to call back in 2 weeks, the other which wanted 10% of monthly gross which I specifically asked gary about before purchasing and he told me there would be no fees. As you can see I have a bad start with this company.
Does anybody know if you need any business licenses to have these vending machines?
