Question is why do you care?? Are you the same guy (pinkjazzX) over at the other vending forum asking the same type questions. What real difference does it make? Are you looking at buying? Are you in the vending business? Getting into the vending business?

I'm just a vending machine fan. There is nothing wrong with that.

Glass fronts are mostly for the experts, however, if you really want a glass front, the Dixie-Narco BevMax 4 would be the only model I would recommend.

Avoid the Vendo Vue at all costs; it has way too many motors that can fail. In fact, I heard that Pepsi Bottling Group of Phoenix, AZ is phasing out the Vendo Vue due to the many problems with them. I never used a Royal Vision (they are somewhat less common around here), however, so I can't say whether or not I can recommend it or not.

I would go with the D-N BevMax 4. Avoid the Vendo Vue, it has way too many motors that fail easily. I don't have much experience with the Royal Vision 500.

In Topic: Why are Pepsi-owned glass front machines usually Aquafina-branded?

As a side question, has anyone here actually seen a Pepsi-owned Royal Vision in person before? I know Pepsi-owned Royal Vendors machines are rare in general, and a Pepsi-owned (either Pepsi or Aquafina branded) Royal Vision might be an extreme rarity.

There is one Pepsi-owned glass front (a D-N BevMax 4 with LED lighting, branded as Aquafina) at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Chandler, Arizona. I have also seen some Pepsi-owned D-N BevMax 1/2/3 and and Vendo Vue at the University of New Mexico, but never a Royal Vision.

In Topic: Help Needed with Vendo 600 E

20 August 2011 - 05:52 PM

Hello everyone I have just purchased a Vendo 600-E Soda machine. I found out the hard way that you cant just put cans in this machine and expect it to work. It was set up for 20oz bottles, so I have since added the rods & shims needed for cans. My problem is that I cant get it to dispense one can at a time, it lets out three at a time or none at all. I set the cam setting for #1 position as writtin on the door of the machine and I have the rod position in the B slot and still trouble. I did get one of the selections to vend one can at a time and this has me baffled because I set them all up the same. One vendor told me that somtimes the clip that hits the cam as it goes around could be bent and its not catching also I have the cans three deep as shown on the diagram on the machine. Any help from some one that is very familar with these machines would be very appreciated thanks.

I've never heard of a Vendo 600E. Are you sure you don't mean the Dixie-Narco 600E?
