Can I use a generic 120 to 24 volt transformer on vendo 511

I have a vendo 511 that has the 24 volt coin changer and dbv. The transformer that powers them is the vendo 1017861 120vto 24v transformer. They recommend getting one from them but i was wondering if i could just use a cheaper transformer with the same spec and if anyone knows where to get one. Thanx for any help.

My vendo 511 is acting up , the coin changer and bill acceptor arent doing anything when the machine is plugged in. The price light is off and the bill acceptor doesnt make its usual noise. They dont do a thing. The fuses are good and are passing power .I have power to the board and the plugs for the bill acceptor. Anyone have any tips on things for me to check.Thanx for any help/

Cant get the sold out light shut off

I have my vendo 511 working good but one of my slots wont let the sold out go off. I checked to make sure the sold out paddle is compressed and letting off the micro switch, I even put a piece of wire across the terminals in the plug and it still wont turn off the sold out. I dont know what else to check,thanx for any help

Need some help dollar acceptor not giving change

I have everything working and vending fine on my vendo 511 besides the dollar acceptor not giving 50 cents change on the 50 cent cans. Another thing it does it is it will only accept one dollar bill and I would like it to accept two because I have 24 oz bottles for 1.50. I am trying to get the manual . Could someone help me out with what settings i need to change to get this thing right.Thanx for any help

I just got my first machine to sit in front of my Atv sales place. Its a Vendo 511 according to the plate on the side.It says Vmax inside so I dont know. It works fine on cans but I dont exactly know how to set it to vend bottles,Im wanting to do 24oz.Singe stack will be fine for my small volume. I dont know how to adjust the cams or anything so If someone here is familiar with this type machine please let me know. Thanx
