This happend to me once... make sure the harness pins (what gives electric to the changer) is plugged in properly... if its loose this can happen...

Also make sure machine is off or there is no electric given to the coin mech and then short it with a metal pin... and make sure you are pressing the coin acceptor down.. (the part that gets pushed down.. when someone hits coin return)...

I hope it works with that... Take care

Hi. I have a trc6000 coin changer that won't accept quarters. I downloaded the instructions to re-teach the changer. My problem is, after shutting off the machine and shorting the teacing pins and turning the machine back on, the changer will not go into teaching mode. When I start inserting the first nickel it excepts it instead of rejecting it. Is there something I'm missing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

did that solve the problem (when you replaced the seal)? Or did you find out what was the problem?

I have finally decided it has to be the inner door seal. All of the usual suspects were proving to be ok except that one. Although the seal looks to be intact, there are a couple of spots where it is compressed and doesn't rebound anymore. I found that if I crank down the lock as tight as I can get it, it seems to seal and no more ice. I will replace the seal and I think that will solve it for good.

Hey just make sure you have a location before you order machines, most people get machines, but then can not find a location to put it in.

Hey Newbie,

I'm sort of a newbie to, but my advice is yes, think about it hard and if you decide to do it, if you can start with 1, do that and that will give you a chance to experience it.

I have a location where the customers requested Coke rather than Pepsi. Here in Central PA, Coke is more expensive, at $0.31 per can, than Pepsi at $0.25 per can. Is Coke more expensive everywhere?

Yes, I have noticed that too... coke products are more expensive on the eastern shore... DC to NY (dont know about other regions)

Okay I will take a stab at this. I believe that the rubber pipe or hose is the drain hose for the evaparator deck. It should be draining into a pan to collect the water. If there is no pan you need to get one. Then go to the dollar store and buy a couple sponges and put them in the pan. This will soak up the water and allow it to evaporate. If the hose or pipe is hanging straight down you need to put a loop in the hose. I believe the reason you have so much water is that hot air from the compressor is travling up the hose and causing condensation. Putting a loop in the hose will cause water to sit in the hose at the loop and keep warm air from rising up the hose. After you take care of this and you still have alot of water you need to look at the delivery door and the door seals.

Snack dude,

thank you for your response, I have been trying to do all digging and researching and trying to find out the root cause of this leak...

i cleaned the bottom fan with a vacuum cleaner and got a lot of dirt out, do i need to clean the compressor to stop this leak? It is hard to access the compressor as it is all the way in the back and i can not see much or put my arms around anything or anywhere to clean it...

I placed a tray to collect the water on the bottom, in two days, the tray did get filled with water. However, once the tray got filled all the way (with the pipe leading to the tray), the water started staying on the evaporator deck. I emptied out the tray and i was expecting all the water from the evaporaotr deck to rush down through the pipe, but it did not come down so I had to blow air into the pipe and all the dust and debris came out, and water went down properly.

I am not certain where the water is coming from, but there is two round metal bars on top (near evaporation deck) that has water dripping down and the pipe is cold.

Any help anyone can provide me would be great...
