In Topic: What Key is this?

08 September 2007 - 07:56 PM

Hello,

I purchased a SSF double head off ebay, but the seller did not tell me they did not have the lock and key for the machine. There are lots of bulk vending locks & keys for sale on ebay, but I do not want to make another costly mistake. Does anyone have a SSF? If so, what is the name of the lock and key for this type of machine? I rather pick up two from my local hardware store. Thanks.

Coop

If you need lock and keys or parts for SSF contact Steve at luv gumball machines....he always has my parts in stock he has thousands of machines. spfgum@aol.com let him know shawn from Illinois sent you.S

In Topic: Looking to take the leap into vending

Hi, I am not an owner of a machine yet, I am looking to take the leap and would like some advice as to what I need to have before a locate my first machine. Like do I need city permits? How do I find a charity to work with? and is there any paper work or computer software to help me with keeping track of my taxes? Any other info would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Depending on your state there are different regulations. If you visit bulkvending.blogspot.com you will be able to find a few articles relating to each states laws. I operate in Illinois and Missouri under a national charity. I yet have been asked for permits because its for a charity cause. Depending on the size of your city you may want to locate yourself by just walking door to door with a machine and ask the business owners to donate a spot for one of your machines, however you may want to use a national locator most of them charge 50.00. Bulk vending is not a business where you will get rich quick it takes time to pay off all of your overhead expenses. I operate 100 locations and It will take me about 12 months before I pay off all overhead.

any questions

Hello, i have been in the vending business for 2 years. I own and operate 140 machines some of which are under this charity program. Tess is a really nice person to work with and she will go out of her way to please her sponsors. For any vendors with questions or looking for a reference I give this charity a 10/10+

AAFLC Vending Outreach Program.
We greatly appreciate individual owners of vending machines who sponsor AAFLC by displaying the AAFLC stickers on their vending machines, through this way searching parents and the community will be aware of who we are and the free services that we provide. Please feel free to call 1-800-375-5683. www.aaflc.org

Well in my opinion freinds..........oak is the way to go

I can get an oak machine from Oak for 46.00 with shipping included. With a stand $68. I wouldnt go with any plasticm machines if your going to get one to last get a all metal oak vista. I swear by these machines because I have used all the others before, ashland, northamerican, northwestern, beaver, all of them and the oak vistas are the way to go

Yep that is right. Not cheaper, better!
