First of all I'd like to thank the people here who helped me alot to understand the business. You guys have been really helpful.

I am finally going to start with used drink machines and have a few questions.

1. How easy it is to replace the signs on the machines. Lets say i buy a coke machine and I wank to change the glass front and sides etc to a generic drinks logo or intructions on how to use the machine etc. Will it be like changing the ad paper inside or will it be like changing the whole door?

2. Which soda machine brands are more reliable? Most machines I see in the second hand market are Dixie Narco machines. Is it because people get rid of them more? or its just cuz they have more machines in the market. How do you compare Dixie with other brands like vendo or royal.

3. How old a drink machine should be if I want it to work for a few years without troubles? Are there any other question I should ask the seller?

I am new in the business and wondering which machine is overall profitable, snack or soda? I mean if you place both machines at a location like aschool, which machine will be responsible for major potion of the profits. If one gives more, approximately how much more than the other.

I am wondering if anyone have any experience with ICT and Pyramid Bill validators and Coin mechs. How is the repute of ICT? Is it the same "made in china" crap or something reliable? How do you compare it with pyramid?

I am starting vending machine business and plan to buy used vending machines of known
brands. Here are my concerns.

I don't know if currency of my country (PK) is acceptable in those used machines.

I have contacted Pyramid and they told me that their bill validators have the ability to
accept my currency (PKR).

If I buy used machines, how easy it is to program the bill validators to accept my currency,
can any technician do it or I have to send it back to the manufacturer to program it to accept
new bills.

I don't think if dispenser will have problems dispensing my country's coins to give change.

I am also thinking of buying bill validators from a good brand in US, ask them to program it
according to my currency and then replace the system in used vending machines with the new validators.
I don't know how easy this task would be as every machine has diff dimensions.

Expert opinion on this issue will be appreciated.
