Hello,
I am looking to put candy machines in my retail trading post, plus I am looking to start a little vending business. I have read this forum both pages and I have a couple of newbie questions. My Trading Post is in an old 1800's mining ghost town that comes to life every summer. My season runs May-Sept. I had about 70,000 people thru my store in four months last summer. I am looking for machines that will stand up to a lot of people and kids. My store is about 900 square feet and is an old house that was built in 1875. Are there any old antique looking machines made that would fit with the time period? I see that most people here like single head machines what is wrong with double, triple, or 4 in 1 machines that rotate? What would be the best approach to my store? Also where do you purchase Beaver Machines? Thank you! Jacque

Hello Doug,
I would very much be interested in talking with you about the vending business. My husband and I are looking to start a vending business for extra income. Not looking to get rich just make nice extra income. We are very hard working people I started a retail store last year but it is seasonal May-Sept so I would like a winter time or year round cash flow. My husband is a disabled vet and this would great for him also. Do you have a phone number or email where we can reach you? We just need the basics on how to get started like the do's and dont's. Any information would be very helpful. Thank you! Jacque Duxbury

Hello, I am thinking of starting up a vending business. I have researched this the last several days. I can see there is lots to learn. I can see that most people are against vending locators. Has anyone out there had a positive experience with a vending locator? When you call these locators you never get anyone to answer the phone and you leave messages and they never return your call. Doesn't leave a very good impression. What is a good number of machines to start with? I was thinking about 3-5 to start. I was told to also contact distributor/service centers in my state an talk direct to them about the vending business. Where would I locoate centers in my state? I would appreciate any tips or information on getting started in the business. Thank you! Jacque
