I am very seriously thinking of getting into the bulk vending business. I plan on purchasing a couple of heads to get my feet wet and then grow from there. These forums have been a great help in reading advice and opinions from the more experienced so I've decided to ask here.

I have read that offering a percentage (say 10-20%) is a good incentive for the business owner to say yes to your request. I know if you partner with a charity you can get your machine placed without paying a percentage with the understanding you will pay something to the charity itself. I've also heard that I should never mention a percentage unless the business owner asks/says something.

1. Do you pay a perentage to the businesses you have placed a machine at?
2. If so, what is a good percentage to offer?
