In Topic: Is "Kickstart Locators" legitimate?

So what good experiences have you had with locators if Kickstart was a bad one?

As mentioned in my previous post I have a local guy I use that I found on craiglist of all places. He's very professional and does all locating in person. Most of the time he has locations ready prior to me asking him to get them for me.

I'm not claiming kickstart is a bad locator, only that I had a bad experience with them. This is what happened to me, by all means try them out for yourself and let everyone know how it goes.

who cares if he never called you back. He answered through email didn't he. And locating machines takes time. Sometimes it takes a day sometimes it takes a month, the important part is that you get a good location with a lot of traffic.

Apparently I care or I wouldnt have mentioned it. You seem kind of angry maybe you should not let people on the internet affect you so much.

Hello, We refer quite a few of our clients to Kickstart Locations to place the Breathalyzer Vending Machines that we manufacture and distribute and they have been good so far. They are professional and follow up with us and the clients. We have not had any complaints. Robert is personable on the phone and seems to do good business.

Thats interesting, I had a horrible expierence with Robert at Kickstart Locations he never answered the phone or called me back... Took 3 weeks to find a location for a single machine.

Whatever you do dont buy them direct, buy them from someone who bought them direct and is now selling them dirt cheap, I picked uo 10 brand new vendstar 3000 locally the other day for 350 bucks.

Start with 1-3 machines and start off slowly. Buy used equipment - every experienced bulk vendor will tell you these things. You can find cheap, quality machines on Craigslist, and who knows, you might get lucky and find an inexpensive route that a bulk vendor wants to get rid of. I started with Vendstars, which many people think are junk but they are cheap and I have made my money back many times over.

Just start small, given your circumstances! Locate your machines yourself, as you will save money and develop a relationship with the business owner.

Charity vending is great, I am affiliated with the National Childrens Cancer Society, so you help a good cause plus you don't have to share the money with the business as with commission vending! Hope this helps!

Agreed, craigslist/ebay is the way to go. I picked up 10 brand new vendstars the other day for 350 bucks, they may be cheap but at a price like that you cant go wrong. Take your time and ask plenty of questions :)
