If the account is making money (75.00 per machine a week), I'd scrap the Genesis, and get yourself a snack and drink machine, AP, GPL, National, even USI would be a better choice for snacks, and dixie narco for drinks. If the account is doing less than $75.00 a machine, a week, pull it, toss the machines, invest in some good machines and find an account that does an avg of $75.00 a week a machine.

I'm more doing it as a service. I make a little money, not a ton. There's no commission and it's a good safe location that's convenient for me to go to. Im really doing it as a service though and hoping for better accounts from them in the future. (It's a school)

Stay away at any cost unless you need a good boat anchor. Even with that it better not be a big boat cause it aint good for that either.

Buy away from your area if you have to and pay the shipping. Shipping is not as expensive as you may think. The Revision machines at Vendors Exchange is a good deal that you might want to research.

I'm not really questioning that they're bad machines, but why does everyone hate them? Do they break down a lot? I feel like they wouldn't keep making the machines if they sucked. Ugh, I just thought that would be the easy way out of spending double the money on a soda machine and a snack machine.

If its a multi price machine, its a great deal. Several points I would consider...

1. What is the model of bill validator in the machine?

2. What is the model of coin changer?

3. Are they both working?

4. Have you tested the programming?

5. Is it single price or multi-price.

For a 500 series machine, $850 is an okay price, multi or single price. If you could get it for a little less if it is single price, that would be good. We sell single price machines for $750, or $950 shipped.

okay sweet, that helped out a lot. I hadn't thought about single or multi priced. I might as well get a single priced if they're cheaper. Im really only looking to sell cans. I'll have to ask about the bill and coin changer.

I guess I just don't see how that could work because the ice would melt in your coolers and it would be more trouble than it's worth to refill them with ice all the time.
I think it's a good idea, in theory. But i'm just not sure there's a way to make it happen that wouldn't be too much of a hassle.

if you don't want to get into big machines, have you seen the wall or counter units? most are manual, but there's still some electric units as well. these don't cost near as much as large machines either, so that would be a big plus
