Escrow means instead of taking the bill and stacking it, it takes it and holds it in the bill path. If the customer inserts a bill, then decides not to make a purchase and pushes coin return, the bill is returned instead of the changer returning change. If a bill is inserted and a selection is made, only after that is the bill stacked. It basically prevents your machine from being used as a dollar bill changer.

mmmmm
well when it takes the bill the green lights on the dollar val. quit flashing on the first dollar. i vend a coke and get correct change.
the dollar val will then take one dollar and the lights will flash and take the 2nd dollar and stop flashing i can not get it to take the 3rd dollar. i can vend a soda and get the correct change
after that the sucker will take 3 dollars and vend my monsters and give correct change.

Sorry about that I posted something but it didn't go through. You said it takes 1 dollar? does it stack it or hold it in escrow? Do you have anything in the machine priced over $2.00? What kind of coinmech are you using?
The buttons you can get at Vendors Exchange or most local pepsi or coke distributor carry buttons. Just a thought.

i am not sure what you mean by escrow. but yes i sell soda at one price and monsters at another price and thanks for the info

If it is a single price machine, then you need a TRC 6800H, or Coinco's version. If it is a multi-price, and you are using it as such, then a TRC 6000 would work. If you need a place to buy them, we sell them for $79.00 + $14.95 expedited shipping. They are refurbished and come with a 30 day warranty. If you have a TRC 6000 in there, then I would be inclined to believe that it is the main board. The 6800H may be more of a problem if that is what you are using. Either way, it is a good idea to have a spare.

cool
what do you know about the two button SIID from Dixie Narco?

If you have the single price changer's switches set to $3.00, and it won't take more than $1.00, I'd say that your relay, or your coin mech is malfunctioning. Do you have another single price mech that you could put in there to test it?

Well H4UV I guess I need to get a spare coin mech for this machine I believe it to be a Mars 6000 but I will double check later in the week and post this. I am wondering what your screen name stands for?????

I got a call back from Mars about this issue and the lady told me to turn off #8
So I got up and an hour early and did this. Ok here is the funny thing that happens.
It took the frst dollar but not the second one. I vend one coke
then it would take 2 dollars but not three dollars. vend one coke and get correct change
now the machine will take 3 dollars and vend my monster and give the correct change
buttttttttt
if i open the door and put these sodas back in stock i have to start all over on getting it to take the amout of dollars.

i also got a jam signal today and it was my first one... but no jam i pulled the soda out and check the rotating assy is in good working order and i see no twist in the craddle. did a motor test and reload. problem solved I think.
I am really leaning towards in getting a new control board. I found one on ebay that states new in the box. can anyone tell me a fair value on this part? Can they be re worked????
