In Topic: Change bypassing Mechanism

Start with your coin mech, Check your acceptor, see if there is any debris, are build up on it, the acceptor is the part that accepts the coin as it enters the the coin mech, just pull it out, and check the path, clean that part out, sometimes coins get caught in the flap that separates the coins, check that as well, if after cleaning, it still want accept it, turn the machine on and off a few times, then try it, if that doesn't work ,maybe time for a new coin mech.

Thanks - somebody must have stuck a quarter in that was on one of those mailers with a blob of glue on the back, once I got that out cleaned off the residual it was working perfectly

Try a pallet jack or check out Sunbelt rentals. Thaey have a variety of material handling supplies. I have used the one that is actually 2 seperate hydraulic hand trock that lift in unison. I could move a soda machine alone with no problem

I know you can. Even with my huge debtload, my business is profitable. My problem right now is size. I need 2 more larger accounts before I will be far enough ahead of my expenses that I can pay myself something more significant. Profitable? Yes. Thriving? Yes, with 2 more decent accounts.

I have found that with vending, it's all about finding the right balance for each account:

1. the right number of machines and the right source of machines (3rd party or direct purchase). Too much machine = too much debt for the account.

2. the right amount of servicing (too little costs you sales, and maybe even the account while too much costs you time and extra fuel and maybe extra payroll).

3. the right mix of product and pricing (selling the right items profitably).

You get these right, and you will be profitable. But you have to be big enough with enough machines out there so that your profits add up to a nice paycheck. ;)

Very sage thoughts. I subscribe to same line of thinking with the caveat when describingthe vending businses that it is more of an inventory control and supply chain business them a sales business. Control the Inventory and Supply Chain and the sales take care of themselves

Fawn Sales Inc Model #2051 snack vending machine trouble. Thats whats on the plate riveted to the back anyway. Nothing else indicating something different I could find.

Anyone here know anything about these. I have one thats refusing to vend, and is spitting out a few codes but we have no manual to know what they mean.

Its been disassembled and cleaned with no change.

error codes being displayed are C01, C07, and C08.

This is a fairly old machine. If anyone knows anything about it or has a user manual they can scan or email it would be much appreciated.

Fawn was / is affliated with Wittern group. Try there website they have service manuals online
