In Topic: Soda Machine Help

20 April 2009 - 08:46 PM

OK, I received a Dr Pepper Soda machine in trade for a mini bike. This is going to be used only for home use. It can dispense cans or bottles. I think the 4 in the middle shoots dispense the bottles. I want to set it up so that you do not need to put money in to use it. Also I home brew beer and i was wondering if I can use glass bottles in it or not. I figured if I pad the shoot so they do not bang up on metal this would solve breakage. Or is bottle size an issue? Any help would be great.

If the coin mech has this type of plug, you can buy one of these to make it free vend. Pretty expensive but unless you can make your own......

Has anyone had success with meal items such as the ones listed on this site? ie bagelfuls, gowich, kraft dinner, etc. How about oreo cookies? they say better margin than bars. any thoughts?

I am selling the Kraft Easy Mac for $1.25 and it is doing quite well. Oreos also do pretty good.

I think I would like to try a box. If your offer still stands, that is. I'm here in Berkeley CA 94704. Let me know how much is shipping. If they work for me, I'll take 2 more boxes later if you still have any. Thanks.

Yes, the offer still stands. I will let you know the shipping as soon as possible.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try the stretching idea. By the way, I'm not sure, but I don't think my 6600 is a shallow one. (It uses a 10-count spiral for the 1.5 ounce bag of Lays Classic.)

Let me know if you would like a few of those other spirals that I mentioned. I have several boxes of them and they come 4 a box I think. They fit 6 small cans of Pringles so maybe that would give you an idea on how wide they are. Shipping cost is all I would charge.
