Mars MEI VFM vs. VN series

What are the pros and cons between the two? I am having some trouble putting in the VN series in one of my older Vendo machines (its a 345), so i'm looking for another option. I see that the VFM's are substantially cheaper, which usually means a lot of features aren't there. The VFM looked a bit smaller so I thought I might be able to use it instead, but I don't want to get a validator that is far inferior from the VN series.

Mars VN 2500 Series Bill Validator

What are the covers called that go around the bill validators and come from the outside (used to hold them in place)? They basically just look like a thin square piece of metal with 4 bolts sticking out of one side (and the other side is flat). Also the bill validator I purchased came out of a pinball machine, and the wiring harness doesn't seem to be able to connect to my coin mech. How difficult is it to change those? What kind of harness do I purchase, and where would I go about purchasing them?

Changing the barrel locks in T-Handle locks

Just bought a few customized Van Locks to replace the old locks in my newly purchased machines (mainly to keep them all using the same key). Any tips on changing these? I doubt they're very difficult, but are there any special tools to use to remove these?

Anyone have one to sell, or know a good place to purchase one? How would you rate it? Should I buy it refurbished, or would it be safe to buy used? Looking to put it in an older Vendo 345 machine.

Morrill Motor and Monster Energy Drinks

I just had my fan motor blow up (the one that is near the compressor), and it is made by Morrill Motors. Anyone have any suggestions on where to go to buy one? I went to www.grainger.com and they have an A.O. Smith motor that may be a replacement? Also i'd like to see if I could sell Monster energy drinks out of this machine, and what I would need to buy to convert it to be able to vend the Monsters (as of now, the cans are getting smashed, causing them to explode, and also making it unable to vend them). Thanks in advance!
