I have 8 of these tough pros making money for me. They are ok. Easy to service with the separate change compartment. They are a little flimsy compared to more expensive brands but I have not had any problems with these machines in 6 months.

I've done my own personal research and I've seen a lot of scams and so forth...

It seems to me these are the most reliable and economical when buying new.
But I don't hear about people buying these:

Am I missing something?

Then there is this rectangle box style that everyone appears to like:

I'm not putting Vendstar down really if it turns a profit, but these don't look appealing to me...
I've seen these in red powder coat (by other manufactures) and they look better...
Vendstar looks like it may be plastic, but not sure... its grey color...

Is a kid just a kid and going to buy if bubble-gum & candy exist?
Does more selections mean purchase, when talking triple vs double?

Are the Vendstars lower maintenance and cheaper?
Or is a full metal product like LYPC a better quality product?

LYPC looks to be a better made product to me the newbie...

So my plan is to get started this week with doubles and triples...
But I'm getting hung up in what is the better machine to buy...

I'd like to get the best deal possible, but I don't want to sacrifice quality to much...

And I just found these guys in another thread:

Thanks for any advice.

Hi, been vending for around 4 years now, Im finding that a lot of my locations are getting tired of about anything I can put in the machine,I have a lot of different products.. has anyone found that the only way to keep the machines producing a good amount is to keep moving the machines to fresh locations? I have 850 machines, single, double & triple gumball/candy machines..any pointers will be great...

Hi......where do you live? I am new to this and am very impressed with the number of machines you have. I am interested in an answer to your question also.

Here is an excerpt from a post on my forum.
It appears that you are exempt from paying sales tax as long as your vends are .50 or less. There is also a link to some specific state info there as well.

Hope this helps.

Steve

Yeah I noticed that last week. I can not believe they have NY exempt. That's a good thing.

After checking all the archives I think I am going to stick with single/double heads and an occasional rack. I want to choose a company that can grow with me, so I can incorporate stickers, etc as I grow. What companies offer a head with a single key turn to open and refill the candy, and also easy access to a coin tray without having to remove the entire candy top?

leo.......the Northwestern super 60 series offers what you are asking for.
