Maybe thats how it works in canada. Here in the good ol US of A I do not pay a fee. I do not pay for dents or dings and I have never ever have signed a lease agreement. I have to purchase X amount of product from them for the amount of machines that I have. Any thing above that I can get where I want. Your right on one thing they do keep records of how much you purchase. I also agree that if you can purchasing your own machines is best. But sometimes things fall in your lap and you have to act fast and its nice having coke or pepsi always warming up in the bull pen.You don't want to lease machines, because...
1. You always have to pay a certain fee, no matter how much income you are making, so in slower months you are still paying the fee
2. You can't have Coke and Pepsi products in the same machine, so if someone wants Pepsi and someone wants Coke, you need 2 machines.
3. When leasing the machine, and scrapes, dings, dents, scratches you are required to pay for at end of lease (just like a car)
4. You HAVE to buy from Coke or Pepsi. So if you see in flyers that pop is on sale, too bad, you have to purchase from Coke or Pepsi, they keep records of amount purchased.
Buying a machine is best, once you have made your payment to purchase, you don't worry about monthly fees and what not.
