I don't know about global. However, I do have 3 of those Genesis boat anchors in my warehouse.
The genesis machines use some kind of homemade coin mechinism, which jams alot, and prevents additional coin sales, which in turn, depleates your coin supply and then "poof", no change for dollar sales. Then there is a note on your machine, "Dont Use" and then your buying a crane combo.
If your looking for a combo... the VM-750s http://www.fortunevendinginc.com/ have a coinco mech in them, the bill validtor has no box, but I don't care about that, you might thou depending on your location.

I recently bought this same Genesis GO380. I did have some "wiring" problems with it at first. The rep came and fixed it, not it works just fine. It was a bad wire causing the problem. As far as the coin mech, I've had no problems at all with that part. Everything in the electronics part works just fine though. Of course I've only had this machine for two months, and it was used when I got it.

I don't own any of these but have seen them in action. I believe they are made in China. They may be good for a small nickle and dime location with limited use but may not stand up in a high volume location.

I have 10 of these Genesis machines. Everyone of them is an absolute pile of steaming crap. I have replaced the coin val in every one, I have replace the coin changer on at least 6 of them and the refrigeration unit on 2 of them. All those replacements were just in the first 8 months of ownership. I have been trying to sell them off (@ a 1/3 of the price I bought them for) before the 1 year warranty is up.
Whatever you do, don't buy Genesis.
Sincerely,
