OK, I received a Dr Pepper Soda machine in trade for a mini bike. This is going to be used only for home use. It can dispense cans or bottles. I think the 4 in the middle shoots dispense the bottles. I want to set it up so that you do not need to put money in to use it. Also I home brew beer and i was wondering if I can use glass bottles in it or not. I figured if I pad the shoot so they do not bang up on metal this would solve breakage. Or is bottle size an issue? Any help would be great.

If the coin mech has this type of plug, you can buy one of these to make it free vend. Pretty expensive but unless you can make your own......

So it looks like its not as simple as just setting the dip pins in a partcular order. That contector looks like i can simple creat a few jumpers that would trick the machine into thinking I placed money in it. That seems simple enough. I will look at the schematic on it today to see if i can figure it out.
Anyone have a take on of my glass bottles will be an issue?

Actually that free play on ebay will only work on some machines. You need a momentory switch in line to prevent burning out your credit relay. Simple wiring: Momentary normally open switch between pins 1 & 3, jump pins 1 & 7.
Another way would be to tie the credit relay closed with something, that way you wouldn't have to press a switch to vend each time. You didn't say which model mach you have but that works on most machines.

Is it a single price machine?
I have a mars 6800 coin mech that I took out because it messed up and is free vending.
I would swap it for you coin mech if they are compatible.
