Dixie Narco 276cc/S11-6

After I press a button to select the soda it kicks out the first one, then continues kicking them out and doesn't stop. Unplugging it is the only way I can get the motor to stop vending. I have tried resetting by many programming resets on the SIID controller and the service push button towards the top.

Problem randomly happened after refilling cans only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. OK to e-mail direct as well to kevin_klasing@yahoo.com . Thanks.

I had that same problem on my 276.It turned out to be the cherry switch on the front of the motor. After you replace it you'll have to run the diagnostics again.

It must be the switch like MVS said, when the selection spin the switch should stop it but your switch must be bad.

I've had bad motors cause this. The motor brake is not strong enough to stop the motor after one revolution, and it keeps turning until it's empty.

Sometimes soda or other substances get onto the motor or switch. Remove powere from the motor and manually push the brake down. If it sticks, even momentarily, you need to clean under and around the brake. Denatured alcohol works great. Carefully remolve the two screws holding the brake assembly to the motor and use a q-tip to clean under the brake and on the motor contact surface. Also check the switches on the motor. Look to make sure that the small button under the actuator moves freely. Pop etc. can accumulate there as well. If these areas are clean and free moving and you still have a problem with multi-vending, you may need to replace the motor assembly. This is a common problem with Dixie, Vendo, and Royal. Good luck!!
