Just about to "take the plunge." Is one type of equipment CLEARLY better than another?

Beaver equipment is the BEST equipment and also the most expensive. This equipment is TROUBLE free and built to last. I have beaver equipment that is over 20 years old and still runs like brand new. Good luck.. Having very little or no service calls is one of the keys to a successful bulk vending route. Beaver Equipment will give you that peace of mind.

I have a U-Turn 8 selection and it is just too much. I would get something that has either 3 or U-turn 4 selections. I don't think one is better then the other... The U-turn's are heavier which means they might not get stolen as much. The Vendstar is really light anyone could just grab it and run. Also the U-turn keeps all the odd coins which is sweet. The U-turns don't seem to like to be fully loaded though. The dang on Mike and Ikes get jammed alot and the canisters sometimes break. That's even with the spring in the canister. Anyway good luck. I would buy used and wouldn't fill the LARGER canisters up all the way since the 8 select has both small and large canisters.

Howdy,

I've had good experiences with U-Turns. I've had better experiences with Beaver. Still, U-Turns have some advantages: They're space efficient and can really rake in the money with all thier different choices in a high traffic location.
I was lucky enough to have an 8 Selection U-Turn in a major breakfast franchise restaraunt for about 18 months. Right on the Interstate. This baby made $160/month profit on a slow month! And that's after commissions and free candy to the waitresses! Sadly, a corporate exec came along and ordered it removed. :(
U-Turns are somewhat more reliable than thier repuation and spare mechs aren't expensive. They're cheap when bought used.
