I am considering the purchase of a vending route that is well established but I'm concerned about the age of the equiptment. While the machines are Dixie, Vendo, Royal, AP and Rowe, some of them are approaching 15 years and all are over 5 years old. The current owner is asking $10,000 for 7 locations with 11 machines - no third party equiptment and only one that gets $20 per month (electricity). This guys been running this route for 7 years so it seems pretty solid in that respect. Had I my druthers, I'd prefer less of a brand mix but these are pretty well respected brands (I think). Any insights here would be much appreciated
