I need help identifying this machine. Other than "Super Snack" there are no markings on this machine to indicate who made it. I want to find out who the manufacturer is and if there are parts available for it. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

I figured it out. Its a Seaga CA9. I was also able to download the operator's manual from their website.

No. I went to look at it last night and couldn't find any identifying marks on it, so I posted a picture to see if anyone knew what it was. I'm leaning toward not pursuing this machine. It's older, I can't tell how old, but old enough that the plexiglass is starting to turn yellow and has some scratches. The paint is in good shape, but it has a pretty large dent on one side (not visible in the photo). In addition to that, I think the seller is asking too much ($75). Plus, there is only one location I think might be a good fit for the machine and I haven't asked the proprietor yet if he would allow me to place a machine there. Somebody else has already located a three-head bulk candy machine in this location and I think that machine like this with wider product selection could compete well against the bulk machine; providing that the owner of the place allowed me to place the machine there.

Did you decide against the honor boxes? You can get around 25/30 honor boxes for what this machine cost....

No, definitely haven't decided against it. I think I'm going to order some next week. I already have a couple of locations I think would be good; I just need to get the boxes and go ask the locations if I can put a box there.

i wouldnt bother with these i have one they are a pain in the ass to change the price and they are very dark inside so its hard to see the product, plus no bill acceptance.

plus 75 is way too much i guarantee you can get it under 50 or find one under 50 if you have some patience

I'm pretty sure I could talk the guy down to $50 or less, but even if I could I'm not sure I want the machine that badly. They are an awkward size, too big for most magazine tables at places like tires shops, and too small to carry the really wide variety of a full size snack machine. I'm thinking very seriously about skipping the idea altogether; I'm already planning on trying a few honor boxes around town and I'm not sure I want the added hassle of a machine like this.

Well just to play devils advocate the small selection is not necessarily bad. In my snack locations the vendor i bought out put in 4 wide machines. the problem is the accounts are not that high volume. 10 items would be ideal but even a 12 select or 19 select would
reduce my waste significantly. because i would not have to carry such a big vareity of snacks on hand.

if you have an account that you want to "Test the waters" and see if it justifies a full size snack machine (like the lobby of a big auto repair shop) or you think soda would be good there but you can only get it done if you have a snack machine too, this might not be a bad option. if you dont have a place for it don't buy it.

i ended up with an 11 select savamco because a location i was going to place a soda machine at with about 30 employees said they wanted a snack machine or no deal, they refused to take an honor box instead. in the end they backed out of the whole thing after i bought and painted the stupid thing. luckily i was planning to move a soda machine so i didnt waste money buying one .

The location I have in mind is a busy tire shop; the machine would be for the patrons in the lobby. If you've ever had to have any work done at a tire shop, you know that you frequently end up sitting in the lobby for an hour or more. All that is available to customers for snacks is a triple head bulk machine. I was thinking about asking if I could put a snack machine in the lobby to offer the customers something more than handfuls of peanut M&Ms and such while they wait for their vehicles to be serviced. I think a soda machine would also do well at this location, but I only have so much money (or more accurately so little money). The lobby is pretty small, so a smaller machine would fit better. Between the tire displays and furniture for customers to sit on, there isn't much room.

i have 2 tire/lube shops they do ok , soda only, 40-50 bucks a week on average with cans @ 0.65. i fill it every 2 weeks full up. bottles might do better but lower volume not sure. i put an honor box in the back for the employees to increase my bottom line. small snack machine like that may do ok, except u cant accept bills. you sort of have to decide if that level of gross is acceptable for the amount of work you are doing. if u know what i mean.

I'm just beginning in the vending world, so any level of gross that nets a profit would be thrilling. $40 a week would actually be pretty exciting to start out with.
