I have a mechanical snack machine that doesn't do too well. I got it super cheap and put a changer on the side of it. It's not the most professional looking machine, so even though it doesn't do very well I think it would be hard to relocate. It is currently set at 50 cents per vend and I don't really want to mess with changing it. Anyway, my question for you guys is about the kind of snacks to put in it. I want to try and find the cheapest things that I can, and snacks that last a while before they expire. I've found that Austin crackers are super cheap and quaker granola bars as well. I don't really know what else though that I could fit in those thin candy bar slots... For the bag slots I've just been putting potato skins, cracker jacks, and part mix. any suggestions?

Your current chip selection is a little high on the cost for .50 vend. The Wise variety box from Sams Club is about the cheapest you will find for chips.

Little Debbie Nutty bars are around .25 a unit at Sams and will fit in most candy slots.

Rice Crispy Treats are not to expensive and fit some candy slots.

I just have to say my gut reaction to the question is: You can put the cheapest stuff in it you can get but if they won't buy it, what good is it?
