I bought this machine off CraigsList. Always wanted a pop machine in my basement.

I works, technically, but I think the coin mech was from another machine and not compatible with this machine. I swapped it out for another broken vending machine I had.
So this machine works, the pop gets COLD (almost too cold and I can't find the thermostat control).

Can anyone tell me what kind of machine i've purchased? I' have to buy a new locking bar and would like to set it up for free vend, but I need to figure out what kind of machine I have first.

It looks like an old vendolator or vendo. The t-stat will be located near the e-vap coil generally its mounted in the fan shroud. The coin mech should work in the machine unless its a 4 price mech I will need to know the model number. The machine will not free vend but can be altered to free vend by doing some rewiring or locking out the vend solenoid. If you have any mechanical ability I can walk you through it. I also make a free vend mech that plugs right in to where the coin mech plugs into then all you have to do is push the coin return and it will vend and you don't have to alter your machin. Just a thought.
