What are the covers called that go around the bill validators and come from the outside (used to hold them in place)? They basically just look like a thin square piece of metal with 4 bolts sticking out of one side (and the other side is flat). Also the bill validator I purchased came out of a pinball machine, and the wiring harness doesn't seem to be able to connect to my coin mech. How difficult is it to change those? What kind of harness do I purchase, and where would I go about purchasing them?

The metal plates are Mounting Brackets. You need to know if your model is an up stacker or downstacker before you order one.

The wire harness is easy to change. Just plugs into the side of the DBA.

You will need to contact the manufacturer of the Coin Changer installed in your machine to determine if this DBA would be compatable and the type of harness you need to purchase. Verify the power requirements BEFORE you attempt to connect the DBA unit. Most amusement DBA's are 115vac and I believe many newer soda/snack machines use 24-48vac units. Also find out the Dip Switch settings for your DBA to work with the Coin Changer.
