Hey Everyone,

Is there an easy way to remove a SHIM from a narrow column of a DN501E?

The CAM is preventing it from coming out.

I have held the paddle down and let the cam turn...but still cant pull it out.

Do you have the remove the motor and cam just to take a SHIM out?

Please Help!!

No, you have to time it right while the rotor is rotating to reload or, better yet, set your motor cam to three notches and I think one of the stopping points after the second notch will allow room to remove the shim.  Just wiggle it and it will come loose.
