I just setup my HR32 with a satellite ff2000 on it. Can't get the compressor to kick on to start cooling the machine. Went through the diagnostic menu and the machine won't respond. Anyone have one of these? For anyone who has been keeping up with my story, here is an update. Got all of the machines placed in the paper mill. The "White glove" delivery I got was less than stellar. They sent a local vendor who was about 65 with his two brothers who were older than that. It took us 10 hours and many bumps and bruises on my machines to get the 10 machines placed. Found out the commisions I am getting on soda too. Cheerwine is giving 40%, Coke 31%, and Pepsi 25%. Coke guy said they moved 5400 cases last year. So, I should be getting good money just for letting them vend there. The machine with the satellite frozen on it had 4 items sold out in the day and a half it was sitting there. I'm starting to get excited, but the cafeteria doesn't open till Monday. That will tell me what I have gotten into. Wish me luck. And please let me know if anyone has info. on the ff2000. Thanks
I was just wondering this morning how you were making out! Those look like some nice commision checks coming your way. I don't quite understand your setup with the cafeteria. You use there kitchen with your employees and create your own menu?

I had this same problem with the first CF1000 I set up. Basically, you need to establish communication with your satellite and your snack machine. Right now, your snack machine doesn't "see" your satellite, even if you have hooked up your umbilical cord, which I assume you have done. Wiring your satellite into your HR-32 does not automatically "make the connection".
In your owner's manual for the satellite, there are two modules with programming instructions that you will need to go through (assuming these steps are still necessary with the new setup, assuming your HR32 has the new setup). Not having the manual in front of me, I think they are the first two diagram/modules that are displayed. The one where you set your "Set Point" is the second one that you need to go through. Once you do that, your snack machine will sense the presence of your satellite and your compressor will kick in.
I don't use the FF2000, but I have 3 of the CF1000 cold food satellites. My hookup to the snack machines may be different from yours... mine have to be snaked through the back panel and connected directly to the computer board (there are about 5 wires to connect). I'm not sure, but your connections with the new HR-32s might be a lot simpler now... just a simple plug on the back of the machine to connect to.
If you still can't get it connected, call Wittern's service department and they will walk you through it. They are very good at that.
