I have 3 accounts that have been closed for a week and a half, completely shut down - one of which is my largest account. All the others worked only half of last week at about half their normal headcount. I don't recall it being such a big deal last year, but I didn't have the accounts back then that I have now (or the bills). Collections last week were absolutely HORRIBLE, and if I didn't have bills to pay, I wouldn't have bothered with it.

But the good news is that beginning tomorrow, everything goes back to normal, even though it's only a 3-day week for all but one account.

Anyone else feeling the pinch?

Holidays are not a vendors friend, this is when credit lines are used, and repaid back in feb, the good news is that we picked 2 big accounts the week before Christmas, and go in Jan 4th, and one of these accounts will accutally be a good one during the Holidays for us next year.

The same thing happened to me, that's funny. Had one account that I'd been working on for a year and a half call me and was ready to go... got it installed, 4 machines, on Dec. 27, and another one - the larger one with 9 machines - will install mid-January, which should help recover some cash (I also have worked this one for about a year and a half). I love it when the pipeline comes thru.

I am newbie when it comes to this biz. Yup, I notice a decrease in sales during the holidays. What would be the peak months for vending business? Thank you.
