Hi,
I am a new and have a small vending route I work part time. I was just asked by one of my accounts at an apartment complex to remove my soda machine because they are afraid of being sued by someone being injured by it. They asked me to get insurance. Is there such thing as vending liability insurance? Who sells it? How much does it cost? I would appreciate a quick answer since my account wants the machines out soon.

There are companies that offer vending insurance, and some companies offering ordinary business insurance for public liability. Get on the phone and start asking questions.

You need general business liability insurance. It will run $200 - 300 for a million dollars of coverage (this can vary significantly depending on your state).

I have found that leasing agents are very good at checking for insurance. I have one location that I had to by an additional policy with the locations name on it.
