Hi all. I was wondering before I put my machines in a store do I need a written document to show ownership of the machines just in case the business were to move some where else or go out of business so I have proof of ownership.

Thanks.

It will certainly help. Even if your contact person leaves you could have a problem.

Here is a suggestion than may also help. Print an asset sticker with your contact information and attach to the equipment underneath. You may also want to use an asset id number on the machine and keep a master record to include mod.#, ser.# and location of equipment at your office. This should help you establish ownership in event of a property dispute.

I just had a question about privilege tax license. If I place a machine in one city and then place another machine in a different city do I need a license for both cities???

I guess it all depends on your city and state Laws, what type machines your placing? I would sugest going to each county office for more information, they will tell you weather you need a DBA for there county or just one from your home county.
